At an altitude of 300 m, at the foot of the southern slope of Mont Ventoux, Bédoin is a small, quiet Provençal village, leaning against the hill of Saint Antonin and dominated by its baroque-style church, Saint Pierre. Bédoin has an international reputation thanks to it being the starting point for all cyclists who want to conquer the legendary Mont Ventoux by its steepest route.

Explore the surroundings of Bédoin, which includes around twenty hamlets, full of authentic charm that is both Provençal and sometimes a little 'mountainous'.
As you explore, meet the winegrowers producing AOC Ventoux wines from this typical terroir. The main street, le Cours, is filled with welcoming terraces where you'll be relieved to get some fresh air in the shade of the plane trees.
You can also take the opportunity to take the road to Malaucène via Col de la Madeleine, which is very popular with cyclists and hikers alike.
The forests covering Mont Ventoux are ideal for hiking and snowshoeing when snow covers the massif.
