Our cellar has its roots in the village of Vacqueyras, the renowned Rhone Valley "cru." 80 winegrowing families pool their expertise, handed down through the generations, sharing a respect for, and commitment to, the environment and their terroir.

We’re a mosaic of different personalities – there’s a reason why we’re known as “characters!” We are committed to protecting the environment, promoting organic and sustainable agricultural practices and opposing commonly-held assumptions and established conventions in the world of wine. We’re proud to be able to bring our history and passion to our winemaking, something that is evident in the diversity and quality of our wines - wines which are synonymous with accessibility, sharing and sensual pleasure. Within our Vacqueyras cellar, we have created a oenotourism space that is entirely devoted to wine, gastronomy and the terroir. Visitors can receive personalised advice about a wide range of wines, at a wide range of prices; and why not take advantage of our tasting area where you can learn about the distinctive flavours of our wines, or indulge in the cuisine of Michel Ducellier, the head of our restaurant, Le Dolium. Throughout the year, there are a range of activities organized around the theme of vine, wine and gastronomy. Our aim? To invite you to share a unique wine-based experience and introduce you to the Provençal way of life! Les Vignerons de Caractère offer cellar tours and tasting sessions (3 crus), from April to September, every Wednesday and Saturday at 10.30am. Maximum 25 people. Free of charge.
