The Bastide du Laval estate extends over 30 hectares, encompassing woods, olive groves and vineyards. It’s located a stone’s throw from Lourmarin, classified as one of the "Plus Beaux Villages de France" (France’s Most Beautiful Villages), in a typical, South Luberon setting. Here, it’s all about taste, fruity flavours and delicate smells. In the heart of the 30 hectare olive grove is the mill, which is also open to visitors. Member of the 'groupement des oléiculteurs de Vaucluse' (Vaucluse olive producers). The oil, which has won awards in numerous competitions, won the gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole in Paris once again in 2015, in addition to other gold and silver medals in the 2015 contest in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France.
The Bastide du Laval immerses the visitor in the local traditions and landscape of Provence, offering them first-hand experience. Several options are available for visitors: Free self-guided tour of mill and olive grove available all year round. The olive grove comprises 4000 trees and is located on AOC "Huile d'olive de Provence" land. The estate is organic certified . The shop, which showcases the best of Provence, sells gifts, olive oil, wines produced on the estate and local products.
