Long distance cycle routes in Vaucluse

After the opening of the first two sections in the Apt region in 2005, the Calavon long distance cycle route now has a 37km section between Coustellet and Castellet.
When it's finished, this dedicated route will sweep across the whole of the Calavon valley from Cavaillon to join the Alpes de Haute Provence department.

Calavon cycle path

Véloroutes are short, medium and long-distance routes of departmental, regional, national or European interest designed for cyclists, linking regions and providing safe passage in urban areas. They use all types of safe routes, including green ways. In actual terms, these are special cycle paths.


"Provence Cycling" charter

An entire network of professionals part of the "Welcome Cyclists" Charter were consituted on the territory. Many different service providers have gotten together to form a network to extend a very special welcome to cyclists throughout Vaucluse.
