The campsite at Violès :

In the very heart of the Côtes du Rhône vineyards, through which you can cycle to your heart's content. Lots of marked cycling itineraries. the campsite at Domaine des Favards has 200-m2 pitches, swimming pool, wading pool, and light food service. Great for cycling, great for tasting the estate wines. Services pour cyclistes

Take a stroll along the pathway through the vineyards and learn about our work and our on-going dialogue with nature; you can also find out about the ecosystem of vines and the methods used to encourage biodiversity.
You’ll discover several cycling routes very close to the campsite.
You may, of course, wish to stroll around some typical Provençal markets, for example the Vaison la Romaine market held on Tuesday mornings, Ste Cécile les vignes market held on Saturday mornings or Bédoin, on Monday mornings.

Climbing enthusiasts can head for the Dentelles de Montmirail, in the region of Gigondas, just 4 km from the campsite.
You’ll also find numerous hiking trails in the Dentelles de Montmirail mountain range and on the slopes of Mont Ventoux. And if you fancy some cooler air, your can take a hike through the Toulourenc gorges.
Discover our range of wines during a tasting session with a wine-grower or at our restaurant where you can also sample regional dishes, grilled meats, salads and other delicacies.

Various wine-tourism activities are available, depending on the season, as well as musical events, boules competitions, aquagym etc.
Observe the work of the wine-growers, during the harvest, in September. Walk through the vineyards and help with the grape picking. From there, head to the cellar where you’ll find my sister Céline, who’ll answer all your questions about wine-production. Inhale the intoxicating smells associated with the wine-making process. In the morning, if you’re in the mood, you can have breakfast, comprising homemade jam and wine jelly, on the restaurant terrace, facing the Dentelles de Montmirail. Prior booking required.

The campsite is a member of the Provence à Vélo network.
