At the Ile de l'oiselay

road access

From Avignon, take the expressway towards Orange and Sorgues. In the center of Sorgues, reach the Ile de l'oiselay.

To be noted


  • Take extra care when cycling between points 1 and 2 because of traffic in Sorgues centre

  • Take a hat and sunscreen - the route does not have much shade

  • Autumn and spring are the best times of year to cycle this route 

  • 800 m of the route between points 3 & 4, and 300m of the route between points 5 & 6, are unpaved
