A refreshing beautiful bike rid through a true oasis of green countryside - even in the height of summer! The Sorgue river, with its crystal-clear, emerald-green waters, flows from village to  village, winding through the orchards. The river divides into smaller streams, crossed by bridges here and there, and arrives in Isle-sur-La-Sorgue, once a fishing village, now a lovely city with many canals. Your guest house accommodations, the lovely home known as the "Grande Barthelière", is the starting point for a cycling outing at your own pace, with no particular difficulties, along lovely country roads. Take the time to explore the charm of Isle sur la Sorgue, its beautiful canals, the big Sunday market, and the many antique dealers and collectibles shops, open every weekend (there are over 300!).
